Latest Patch For Operation Arrowhead

Ever since the recent patch I have not been able to launch Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead. When I attempt to launch the game it displays a black screen with 'Failed to start game.' It is linked directly to Battleye as I can 'Launch without Battleye' just fine. I have tried deleting all of my Battleye files and then validating the files, nothing.

I have tried reinstalling the game itself, nothing. I have emailed the company and they have been of no help. I've checked out the Steam forums and I'm not the only one to experience this bug. A few thousand people also got screwed with this update. If you have any suggestions/fixes I would greatly appreciate a reply.Perhaps this video will explain it a little easier than the text itself.

I had this problem for a while and managed to get it fixed yesterday. Go to theC Drive, Program Files x86, Common Filesand then delete the BattlEye folder which is inside that directory.
